INAUGURAL CORE VALUES AWARDS LUNCHEON HONORS LOCAL LEADERS AND OUTSTANDING KIDS The First Tee of Greater Cincinnati & Northern Kentucky announces the first Core Values Awards Luncheon to recognize nine Greater Cincinnati adults from all walks whose achievements and dedication to the betterment of our hometown provide the examples young people need as they grow toward a thriving adulthood. We also recognize two First Tee participants – a young man and woman who are growing up as part of The First Tee and are utilizing the Core Values and life skills they’ve learned to blaze their own paths toward an exemplary adulthood.
The Core Values Awards Luncheon is scheduled for Tuesday, March 9 at 11:30 a.m at the Duke Energy Convention Center. University of Cincinnati’s new head football coach, Butch Jones, is the keynote speaker and our host is WCPO-TV sports anchor Dennis Janson.

D., Superintendent, Sycamore Schools, - COURTESY Dr. Norman Merrifield, Director, Cincinnati Recreation Commission, - SPORTSMANSHIP Marjorie Motch, Volunteer, - CONFIDENCE L.Thomas Hiltz, Trustee, H.C.S. Foundation, - JUDGMENT Robert Mecum, CEO, Lighthouse Youth Services, - RESPECT Kevin Hall, professional golfer, - PERSEVERANCE Joan Conn, Executive Director, The Restavek Foundation, - INTEGRITY John Grinalds, 16, The First Tee of Greater Cincinnati & Northern Kentucky’s first Eagle level participant Ramya Chandrakumar, 13, whose skills have enabled her to play in tournaments across the region. Eight-person tables are available for $1,000, and individual tickets for $150.
